Kousa Dogwood seed

$5.00
sold out

Seeds per pack: 25

Most commonly planted for their massive flower show, Kousa Dogwood fruits are also edible and delicious. When soft and ripe they taste somewhere between a mild persimmon and a papaya. We just break the skins and chew the smooth custard-y pulp out. Four season beauty with huge spring blooms, highly ornamental summer fruit, vivid red-purple fall foliage, and unique exfoliating bark in winter. An absolute stunner of a landscape tree! Resistant to dogwood anthracnose, which has decimated our native dogwoods. Self-fertile

Zones 4-8
