Bronze Fennel

$5.00
sold out

Seeds per package: 25

A wonderful plant for the perennial garden or orchard guild. Bronze fennel emerges every spring with mesmerizing and delicate bronze foliage. The leaves, flowers, and seeds are all edible and incredibly fragrant and delicious. Our favorite way to use the seeds is in cookies, teas, and tossing in rice towards the end of cooking. The plant can grow to 5-6ft in some cases. By July it is loaded with flowers and is a host to endless beneficial insects and pollinators. its powerful taproot enables it to adapt to dry, sandy soils but would also thrive in rich soils.
