Strawberry

$5.00
sold out

Old North Sea
A very cold hardy and reliable heirloom strawberry, originally found in a viking village in Denmark. We’ve found that the berries tend to be a bit smaller then more recently developed varieties BUT what they lack in size they more than make up for in flavor. They might be the sweetest strawberry we’ve ever tasted! The plants are very vigorous and will fill out spots quickly through runners. Thinning the patch in later years will help the plants stay fruitful.

Jewel

Large berries bear in mid-season with classic strawberry flavor. One of the more widely planted commercial varieties, though it does equally well in the home garden.

Ships as a root crown

Zones 4 -8
